This is a combination theory-teardown class.  Theory of operation and trouble shooting will be covered. Participants will take part in dismantling chillers, measuring tolerances and making adjustments.  During the process of dismantling, the instructor will point out potential problems that may be encountered in the field.  Each student will receive a complete set of electronic manuals containing valuable instructions and technical information. These sessions are one week long.  Each machine will be dismantled and reassembled during each class.

Here’s What You’ll Learn:

Day 1 – Classroom Prep:
Start with a clear, instructor-led overview of YMC2 compressor operation and troubleshooting. We’ll break down key concepts and field-tested tips in an easy-to-follow PowerPoint session, setting you up for success before you hit the shop floor.

Days 2 & 3 – Full Hands-On Training:
Roll up your sleeves and dive into live disassembly and reassembly of Mod A and Mod B compressors. You’ll work directly on the equipment, learning how to:
  • Safely disassemble and rebuild the compressor
  • Measure critical tolerances and make real-time adjustments
  • Spot potential issues before they become costly service calls
  • Apply everything you've learned directly to real-world service jobs
All training is led by Senior Field Technicians / Instructors who bring years of field experience. You’ll walk away with practical, working knowledge—not just theory.
