Centrifugal Theory & Teardown

These are combination theory-teardown classes. Theory of operation and troubleshooting will be covered. Participants will take part in dismantling chillers, measuring tolerances and making adjustments. During the process of dismantling, the instructor will point out potential problems that may be encountered in the field. Each student will receive a complete set of electronic manuals containing valuable instructions and technical information. These sessions are one week long. Each machine will be dismantled and reassembled during each class.

Who Should Attend?

This training is designed for those who are familiar with basic centrifugal theory and want to learn more about complete overhauls and the microprocessors which control centrifugal chillers.

What Will You Learn?

Emphasis will be placed on proper techniques and procedures. You will be instructed on how to: Perform an annual inspection, prepare a unit to be disassembled, set up proper rigging equipment, use special tools and techniques, making clearance adjustments and reassemble. Proper footwear and attire is required.
