Existing system was comprised of three air cooled Trane chillers (2 @ 300 tons & 1 @ 200 tons). Ownership decided to leave the 200 ton chiller as an afterhours tenant chiller, and remove the two existing 300 ton chillers to make room for the new cooling tower system. Entech provided a used equipment purchase for the existing 300 ton chillers for our rental fleet.
Owner and Engineer specified a factory witness test at the San Antonio York Factory. Both York chillers passed all load test points including full load test with 55 degree entering condenser water temperature.

Entech was also tasked with designing and building a condenser pump system. Entech’s Engineering and Construction team designed an outdoor structure that would house Condenser water pumps, electrical panels, and Variable Frequency Drives for the new cooling tower.
This project was a true Entech solution as we worked with new building owners to upgrade the existing Andover system adding additional controls, and making repairs to existing Andover systems within the building.
This project also included locking two Flakt Fans in 3 story built up AHU with new fixed hubs and adding associate VFDs, replacement of two 100 hp VFDs on 8 story built up AHU, new elevator room A/C System, Outside Air fans and VFDs, and three additional Air Handling Units with associate VFDs.
Today Entech continues to provide Mechanical and Automation support and service after the completion of this project, and after the recent purchase of this property.
